At the Annual General Meeting of UBC Media Group plc  the Chairman John Hodson updated his comments made in June on the announcement of the company's preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2005, saying that, "the first quarter has seen revenue growth significantly ahead against the same period last year across the Commissioned Programming, Syndicated Programming and Radio Services divisions. Since the start of the year we have seen advertising revenues increase 39% compared with the same period last year. The Board are satisfied with the performance of the Company, which is in line with expectations, and we believe the prospects for the year ahead are positive".
