November 2003:
UBC announced that Unique Facilities has signed a deal to provide a range of radio services to Gala Group Limited across its 193 sites throughout the UK for a further three years.

June 2003:
UBC announces a tie-up with Time Out magazine in content and marketing arrangements for Classic Gold Digital. As part of the deal, Time Out will become the primary supplier of Classic Gold London's local entertainment news and listings information.

March 2003:
EMAP Radio contracts to use Unique Interactive's digital radio text technology, comprising its proprietary ManDLS (Dynamic Label Segment) software, across its portfolio of radio stations.

February 2003:
UBC announces Guardian Media Group's radio network is to join the AA Roadwatch service - joining a network of other radio groups, including Chrysalis, GWR Group, Capital Radio and Scottish Radio Holdings.

December 2002:
UBC acquires part of Guardian Media Group's shareholding in Oneword Radio, increasing its shareholding in Oneword Radio to 50% in return for Guardian Media Group acquiring a shareholding in UBC.

November 2002:

The MXR consortium wins its fifth regional digital licence for the Yorkshire region. The award brings the total potential audience for the five MXR multiplexes won to 17 million.

UBC announces a three-year deal with the AA to distribute the traffic and travel news service, AA Roadwatch, to a network of radio statoions throughout the UK. The agreement potentially doubles the size of UBC's bartered airtime business.

October 2002:
UBC and Capital Radio announce an agreement with Chrysalis to launch the world's first DAB Digital Radio Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) network for the commercial radio sector.

July 2002:
Classic Gold Digital secures digital carriage in London, extending the population coverage of Classic Gold Digital to 29 million.

May 2002:
Oneword awarded the prestigious Sony Radio Academy Gold Award for 'Radio Station of the Year (Digital Terrestrial)' for the second year in succession. UBC also warded a further three Sony Radio Academy Awards for programmes produced by Unique during the year.

March 2002:
UBC announces a placing and open offer of 19.45 million shares, raising £5.44 million (before expenses) to fund its digital audio and data business through to profitability and repay the Company's loan note to GWR Group.

February 2002:
UBC and Capital Radio team-up to form a joint venture to develop digital radio data services in the UK.

October 2001:
UBC acquires remaining six Classic Gold AM stations from GWR Group, extending Classic Gold Digital's total population coverage to 21 million.

May 2001:
Oneword awarded the prestigious Sony Radio Academy Gold Award for 'Radio Station of the Year (Digital Terrestrial)'.

April 2001:
UBC announces carriage deal for Classic Gold Digital on all seven Emap digital multiplexes in the North of England

UBC and GWR announce the formation of a joint venture company, The Digizone Limited, to launch the world’s first commercial digital radio data service on the national multiplex, Digital One.

March 2001:

MXR consortium wins West Midlands regional radio digital multiplex licence.

January 2001:

December 2000:

September 2000:
UBC Digital joins MXR consortium bidding for regional digital licences

UBC launches the Digizone, the world’s first multimedia radio channel

UBC’s subsidiary, Classic Gold Digital Limited, acquires the Classic Gold format, including 12 AM licences

July 2000:
Flotation of UBC Media Group on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.

June 2000:
UBC Media Group acquires the entire share capital of The Unique Broadcasting Company by way of a share exchange.

May 2000:
Unique Facilities’ West End resource, 'QTwo, opens.

Oneword Radio commences broadcasting on Digital One national digital radio service.

April 2000:

G-One formed as a joint venture with Ginger Media Group.

1998:
